Cub Scout Adventure Camp offers a family-style camping experience. With a beautiful lake, archery and BB gun ranges, rock climbing, canoeing, and paddle boating. Cub Scout Adventure Camp offers a Cub Scout camping program for Scouts and family members of all ages! Cub Scout Adventure Camp is located on the east side of McNeil Scout Ranch at Peaceful Valley in Elbert, Colorado, also known as Camp Cris Dobbins. The camp is approximately a one-hour drive from downtown Denver.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
The Greater Colorado Council will refund 100% of paid camp fees if the camp cannot operate due to local, state, or federal policies. Individual camper fees may also be refunded if their immediate family is affected by COVID-19 and are unable to participate in the camp program. Documentation must be provided.
All cancellations are based on a per person basis & are subject to the following guidelines:
- 31 days or more to check in: All paid fees.
- 21 – 30 days before check-in: 50% refund
- 0 – 20 days prior to checking: 0% refund
Any cancellation made after 20-day before scheduled attendance of camp will not receive a refund unless documentation is provided by a medical doctor, or there has been a death in the family.
Only the person who made the payment may request refunds. All refunds will be paid to the person who paid made the payment. Adding and/or removing individuals will follow the same refund policy. All refund requests should be submitted in writing via email to JoLynne Conrad. All refunds are subject to Camp Director approval.

CampDoc is our Camp’s medical documentation system which allows us to manage information for each person attending camp. Each person attending camp will be given a login to CampDoc to fill out and upload their medical forms and information. No paper medical forms will be accepted without direct permission from the Health Staff.

If you Provide the Tent: (Recommended)
- It is highly encouraged to bring your own tent.
- Capacity cannot exceed the manufacturer’s instructions.
If we Provide the Tent:
- Canvas Tent – 7′ x 9′ (sleeps 2)
- Wooden Tent Platform
- No cots are provided.
We highly recommend that each family considers bringing their own tents. If you would like to use one of our tents – please submit your request on this form prior to camp.
Dining Hall Meals
All Campers are served 8 Meals for the Week with the opportunity of salad and a PB&J Station at every meal in the Dining Hall.
